This was the first time I had clapped eyes on this particular make/model. From a distance it was clearly showing period Buick styling but looked subtly different from all the others I had seen. The rear exhibits the usual BIG fins but round the front there is the most amazing grill featuring lots of square chrome blocks in a grid formation. Engine wise this one is running a 5.9L V8 and sat nice and low on big deep dish chromies.
For this particular rendition I wanted to contrast the often difficult to photograph black paintwork against the shiny bright chrome and the summer blue sky. This was the 20mm wide-angle lens wide open at f/2.8 with the front of the car nice and sharply defined, gradually blurring out the rest with the small depth of field.
The usual recipe of photoshop and lightroom to finish it off.
